SUMMARY:What Solutions the C-Suite are Really Looking For! - NAIFA-Arizona 'Fall' Program
DESCRIPTION:Hello Fall! With the weather finally getting cooler\, it’s time for some warm-up programs! \nDate: October 28\, 2022\nTime: 9:00 a.m. Registration\n9:30 a.m. Program\n12:20 p.m. Adjourn\nLocation:\nFairway Mortgage Building\n55 N. Arizona Place\nChandler\, Arizona 85225 \nNo fee for NAIFA-Arizona Members – but must Register in advance. \nProgram includes one hour Arizona CE credit. Note: the CE course was last presented virtually in October 2020. \nREGISTER\nHow companies retain and attract top talent and leadership through company culture\, people and values echoed through protection and compensation structures. \nRick will discuss the solutions he and his team design and implement to help companies do just that. \nRick Beyer has been in the insurance and financial services industry here in Arizona for almost two decades. He has been awarded the NAIFA Quality Award 15 consecutive years\, achieved MDRT in his first year\, Court of the Table within his first 7 years and Top of the Table every year thereafter. His experience and success with the top mutual insurance carriers has been extensive. He understands the business\, high-net worth\, and estate marketplace as it relates to executive compensation\, benefits\, succession planning and estate preservation. \n  \n \nKaren Starbowski\n‘Life Care Planning for Families\nwith Special Needs Children\n(1 Hour Az CE) 10 Basic Financial Steps for Special Needs Caregivers – this course will discuss steps to help caregivers get started in preparing for the financial future of their dependent with special needs. It addresses such critical issues as applying for government benefits for Social Security and Medicaid\, creating a Special Needs Trust\, the importance of a Will and considering a Letter of Intent. These steps ensure the types of care and quality of life for a loved one’s well-being today and tomorrow. \nKaren Starbowski has been practicing since 2007 and has been a Financial Planner with MassMutual since 2010. She has completed her SpecialCare Planning designation\, ChSNC through the American College and uses her financial planning passion to assist families who have loved ones with special needs and has developed a unique network of professionals within the Special Needs Community. \n  \nConnie Kadansky\n‘The Inner Game of Prospecting’\nGet your ‘ask’ in gear Are you tired of hiding\, denying and suppressing your Sales Call Reluctance? Are you stressing over the fact that you are not seeing enough new prospects? What would it be like to have 8-10 weekly meetings with new prospects? Call Reluctance affects more than the ability to pick up the phone to initiate contact with potential buyers successfully. It affects your followthrough\, ability to ask for referrals\, give seminar presentations\, ask for the business\, and even recommend a higher-priced option. The good news is that Call Reluctance is learned\, which means you can unlearn it. \nConnie Kadansky\, President of Exceptional Sales Performance\, has presented at NAIFA National twice\, MDRT Global\, GAMA and NAIFA State forums throughout the U.S. The Advisor Today\, Horsesmouth\, and Insurance Newsnet has published several of her articles. A seasoned financial advisor said\, “Thanks to Connie’s coaching\, I landed a $2\,000\,000 account that I rendered hopeless.” \n  \nREGISTER

SUMMARY:NAIFA APEX Conference
DESCRIPTION:NAIFA APEX Conference \nAugust 16-18\, 2022 \nIn-Person – Arizona Biltmore \n  \n\nApex is NAIFA’s new signature event focused on providing innovative sales and marketing ideas to financial services professionals who serve individuals\, families\, and small businesses across the United States. The new brand reflects the concept of a “race to the top” to target those advisors who seek continuous improvement in increasing production and providing financial security to more Americans. The inaugural Apex event will be August 16-18 at the Arizona Biltmore Hotel in Phoenix. \nApex is a completely redesigned pure-play sales summit and sales-incentive meeting rolled into one. Following 2022\, the Apex brand will launch a regional conference model to allow more American advisors access to top speakers with increased flexibility in engaging with the event throughout the year. The regional model will make Apex more accessible and inclusive for busy advisors. Based on NAIFA’s national collaborative structure\, the association is uniquely positioned to allow success-driven financial professionals to regularly interact with thought leaders without traveling too far from home. Holding regional events\, instead of one national event per year also will allow more speakers\, members\, and sponsors to participate. \n“Apex focuses on a race to the top\,” stated NAIFA President Lawrence Holzberg\, LUTCF\, LACP\, one of the visionaries of the redesigned event. “We intend for this to be the sales summit event for agents and advisors who serve Main Street America. This is not a global event—we are focused on preparing financial advisors to better serve and protect our changing USA. American financial services professionals are the backbone and the heartbeat of the American economy. We intend to not only protect our stake in it\, but to elevate the stature of the Main Street advisor working every day for American families and small businesses.” \nApex replaces NAIFA’s Performance+Purpose annual meeting\, which has been linked with a convention-style\, election-style event instead of having professional development at its focus. Apex separates NAIFA’s past from its present and goes beyond simply rebranding the Performance+Purpose meeting to create a completely new event. Apex’s absolute focus on personal performance will appeal to a wider range of professionals to help them reach their highest level of success. It is a game-changer for agents and advisors striving to be the best professionals they can be.
