More about Wendy Feldman, CLU®, ChFC®, CASL®, CLTC

Wendy Feldman is a third generation New York Life agent, following in the footsteps of her Grandfather Ben, Father Richard, and Uncle Marvin. While the other Feldman’s stayed in Ohio, Wendy ventured out west to attend graduate school. Wendy became a New York Life Agent on Groundhog Day, 1986. She has since then owned and operated her own firm, The Feldman Agency, with offices both in Arizona and Ohio. As a financial adviser with Eagle Strategies, she specializes in personal, business, estate and retirement planning, as well as insurance and investments planning.

Wendy graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Organizational Communication. She went on to complete her Master of Arts in Communications from Arizona State University. She then obtained her Chartered Life Underwriter (“CLU®”), Chartered Financial Consultant (“ChFC®”) and Chartered Advisor for Senior Living (“CASL®”) designations from Solomon S. Huebner School of The American College and also received her Certified in Long Term Care (CLTC®) designation from the Corporation for Long Term Care Certification, Inc.

With a passionate desire to share her personal qualities of leadership and organizational capabilities, Wendy actively contributes her time and energy to the betterment of her community. She has served on the Queen Creek Town Council as Council Member, Vice Mayor, and Mayor. Wendy was successful in keeping the heritage of Queen Creek alive while growing at a pace that would take the town from the modest 4,000 residents when she joined the Council to the current population of over 33,000. As Mayor of the Town of Queen Creek, she raised the standard for all citizen leaders. Her passion was to provide opportunities for all individual citizens to get involved in civic processes, to become more informed regarding community issues, to commit to improving lives and to take responsibility for shaping their own community. Wendy instituted several programs that aimed to reach out to build community and forge networks between people of different backgrounds.

In addition, Wendy served as Chair of the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport Authority, the Maricopa Association of Governments, and the Queen Creek Cultural Foundation, as well as serving on the boards of the East Valley Jewish Day School and the Sun Lakes Jewish Congregation. On a state level, Wendy was appointed to the Arizona Power Authority.

A 30 time council qualifier, including 4 at Chairman’s Council, she is a member of MDRT, AALU, NAIFA AND NYLPAC and has received the National Quality Award for many years. Of all the awards and recognition, the position Wendy has received the most personal feelings of accomplishment is from her service on the New York Life Agent’s Advisory Council. She is humbled to have been elected to the position of President for 2019.  She also served as Vice-President for 2018.

Wendy, Eric, and daughter Sydney enjoy their dogs, cat, horses and mules as well as movies, travel, theater, and spending time with family and friends.
